Terms & Conditions

By creating a TradieMate account you agree to these Terms. TradieMate provides quoting, invoicing and customer-management software for Australian tradespeople.

1. Your account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity on your account. You must be at least 18 years old and authorised to act on behalf of any business you register.

2. Acceptable use. You may not use TradieMate to send unlawful, misleading, or abusive content, infringe intellectual property, or attempt to disrupt the service.

3. Subscriptions. Paid plans renew automatically until cancelled. Pricing and features may change with reasonable notice.

3a. Cancellation & data deletion. If you cancel your subscription, your account and all associated data (including customers, quotes, invoices, and settings) will be permanently deleted at the end of your current billing period. You will retain full access until that date. This action cannot be undone — please export any data you wish to keep before the period ends.

4. Your content. You retain ownership of customer, quote, and invoice data you upload. You grant TradieMate a limited licence to host and process it solely to provide the service.

5. Availability. We aim for high uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is".

5a. Accuracy of quotes & invoices. TradieMate is a tool that helps you create quotes and invoices — you are solely responsible for the accuracy of every document you produce, send, or rely on. This includes line items, quantities, prices, GST, ABNs, customer details, due dates, payment instructions, and totals. You must review and verify each quote and invoice before sending it to a customer or acting on it. TradieMate is not liable for any loss, dispute, underpayment, overpayment, tax issue, or damage arising from incorrect, incomplete, or misleading information in a quote or invoice. You are also responsible for keeping your own independent records of all transactions, payments received, and tax-related documents as required by law (including ATO record-keeping obligations) and should not rely on TradieMate as your sole source of truth or backup.

6. Liability. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law. Otherwise, our liability is limited to the fees you paid in the previous 12 months.

7. Termination. You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms.

8. Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia.

Privacy Policy

TradieMate complies with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect. Account info (name, email), business details you provide, customer and job data you enter, payment metadata, and basic usage/device data.

How we use it. To operate the service, process payments, provide support, send service emails, and improve the product.

Sharing. Limited sharing with infrastructure providers (hosting, email delivery, payments) under confidentiality obligations.

These tools may set cookies and collect device, browser, and usage data (such as pages viewed, referring URLs, and interactions), and may share this information with Google and Meta as independent data controllers for their own purposes, including ad measurement and targeting. You can manage or disable cookies in your browser, opt out of Google Analytics via the Google Analytics opt-out add-on, and adjust ad preferences in your Facebook ad settings.
